I've been sorting through my wardrobe recently, trying to slim down and its time for these items, that haven't been worn in a long time to find new homes. Interested?
I've listed a lot of things on eBay, plenty of vintage, including items from Hobbs, Laura Ashley, Levis, Zara and Warehouse, as well as Topshop, Tops, dresses, trousers and hats!
Yesterday as I was rushing to work (I was late as usual) whilst impatiently waiting for the green man to appear I absentmindedly looked down at my feet and couldn't help but notice the resemblance my hosiery and footwear bore to that of the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz. Maybe it was a subconscious thing?
They're Clarks by the way, they're ugly and comfortable. I love them. A friend called them 'geriatric shoes' and didn't believe that I had actually bought them. I only wish they were as sparkly as the witches though and that I could cast spells and hexes (especially hexes, on awful nosey old men in post offices). Tights are H&M.
As for the rest of me, well lets just say the resemble probably did spread above the waist!
I have some forthcoming posts planned, but for now, I'll placate you with some pictures from the past couple of months.
So far this year I've tried saké, had a battered mars bar, tried chili tea and LOVED it, had best friends to stay, discovered new artists, visited best friends, baked a lemon polenta cake, stumbled through the streets of Edinburgh more in the past few weeks than I have since I arrived here.

Assignments in, and I'm free to enjoy the weekend. I'm off to Edinburgh to enjoy some disco with a good friend. I hope I have a dancing partner as dashing as Mr. Ferry. I will be making the effort and wearing false eyelashes so why ever not.
It's been a grim few weeks, but I'm in a lighter mood for the meantime and even though I still have lots of pending work, I'm determined to enjoy being young! You should too. Off with you!
Dear Reader, I haven't had time to update, I have a couple of posts planned but it transpires that I have double the coursework I thought due this week. Soon darlings.
Until then, see Blue Valentine, the ending credits are the most glorious I've seen in a long time. Read all about them at The Art of the Title Sequence and it may just sway you.

It's been a low day for me today, so I'm going to attempt and distract myself with impending uni work and by making definite choices of what films to see at the Glasgow Film Festival (which I will also be volunteering at!)
